Thanks to Ian Smith at Hyperbolt Australia, we’re saving heaps of weight on the nuts and bolts of our PAC2 design. We are using 7000 series ‘aircraft grade’ aluminium nuts, bolts and washers – just as strong as mild steel bolts but 60% lighter! The perfect companion to our carbon fibre rims and aluminium PAC frame.
